Siting the Unit

When you site the Laundry Trailer, ensure the ground is level and firm.

This is important because level machines allow water to flow evenly, preventing it from travelling uphill and causing the unit to flood.

Additionally, make sure the drain pipe outside the unit slopes downward so water can flow into the manhole rather than sitting in the pipe.

Entry point

It features two access points, both entry’s require steps. These are to be provided by the hirer. The first entrance is located at the rear of the unit, the second is on the left-hand side. Each access point has double doors, providing a wide and convenient entrance into the unit.

Water and electric inlets

All service connections are positioned externally to streamline installation and minimise downtime on site.

Electrics

Additionally, the unit runs on a 63 amp single-phase commando power supply, delivering consistent, dependable power for uninterrupted laundry operation.

Water

The unit receives water through a 22 mm or 15 mm inlet, designed for straightforward connection to a standard hosepipe.

Wastewater exits through a dedicated drainage outlet engineered to operate efficiently within a 1.5 to 6 bar pressure range, ensuring smooth and reliable water flow throughout use.

Moreover, the unit also includes a professionally installed electrical board with clearly labelled, in‑depth circuits to support safe operation and simplify maintenance.

Inside the unit

 

The interior of this mobile laundry is professionally designed to maximise space and workflow, creating a comfortable and efficient working environment.

The two-room layout clearly separates the washing and drying areas, giving housekeepers more space to work and move safely.

As a result, the layout improves organisation and supports a smoother, more efficient laundry process — ideal for high‑demand environments.

 

Room 1 – Washing Area

The first room includes four Hotpoint Trade A* washing machines that deliver reliable performance. A built‑in storage cupboard provides convenient space for detergents, cleaning products, and other essential supplies.

This room also houses the fuse board.

Room 2 – Drying Area

The second room features four Electriq Trade A* tumble dryers that offer powerful, efficient drying capacity to support continuous laundry cycles. The dedicated drying space reduces congestion and speeds up turnaround times, making the unit suitable for busy sites.

All machines are easy to operate and offer a variety of washing and drying cycles, from delicate loads to rapid spin options.
